2024 Learn to Sail! Kids, Teens & Adults We have lessons for everyone!
Alpena Youth Sailing Club offers sailing lessons for youth, adults and families with classes ranging from beginner to advanced and racing.
Optimist, JY15, and Yngling sailboats give youth and adults an opportunity to learn how to sail, race, and just have fun on the water. We provide the boats, life jackets, and necessary equipment.
Lessons are available in Alpena on the Thunder Bay River and on Grand Lake.
Youth may also participate on the Alpena Youth Sailing Team that races Yngling sailboats on Lake Huron
